Annual floor refinishing work begins Monday, Nov. 19 at the James
City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road. Work is scheduled to close
the basketball courts and walking track. The walking track will reopen on
Tuesday Nov. 20. The gym will reopen on Monday, Nov. 26.
During the floor refinishing, many Group Fitness classes are being
relocated to the community rooms in the left wing of the Center, but please
stop by the Center Front Desk for details.
Also during this period, there may be a strong odor in the
facility, so please use caution if you have respiratory issues. We apologize
for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while we make improvements
to your Center.
