[ARCHIVED] Jamestown Discovery Boat Tours Launch Partnership with The Original Ghost Tour

Haunted River Cruise

James City County is pleased to announce that Jamestown Discovery Boat Tours has launched a new partnership with The Original Ghost Tour. The two companies will work together to offer The Haunted River Cruise of Jamestown Island.

Climb aboard the only river-based ghost tour on the James River, listen to the stories of strange occurrences and hear of the spirits that haunt America’s oldest permanent English settlement. Tours will occur on select evenings through the first weekend of November. Tour times vary. All tours will leave from the James City County Marina at 2054 Jamestown Road. Reservations must be made in advance for tours and will be held rain or shine. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 7-12 and $10 for children ages 3-6. Limited tickets will be available at the tour location if a tour is not sold out, but there is no guarantee.

All tours will last one hour and are aboard a spacious United States Coast Guard pontoon boat that seats 28 passengers and is handicap accessible. There is a restroom on board the boat.

Jamestown Discovery Boat Tours is owned by Captain Corey Fenton and began operations in 2014. The Original Ghost Tour is owned by Angela Taverniti, whose mother began the company with walking ghost tours in 1989.
