[ARCHIVED] Real Estate Committee Reschedules August Meeting

The Real Estate Committee of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) has canceled their Aug. 16 meeting. The meeting has been rescheduled for Aug. 30 at 8:30 a.m. in the Office of Economic Development conference room, located at 101 Mounts Bay Road, Building D, Williamsburg, VA 23185.

The Real Estate Committee meets monthly and the calendar is available online. The Real Estate Committee is a three-member subcommittee of the EDA.

The EDA is a seven-member volunteer board whose members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms. The Authority’s function is to pursue and comply with the goals and objectives set forth in the Comprehensive Plan; to advise the Board of Supervisors through the County Administrator of any application made by an agent or representative of a prospective facility requesting the Authority to issue bonds; and to advise the governing body of James City County of the potential location of the facility.
