[ARCHIVED] FoodaTude..Food with Attitude Debuts Billsburger

On Monday, June 11 from 4-9 p.m., FoodaTude..Food with Attitude (FoodaTude) will debut at Billsburg Brewery (Billsburg) located at 2054 Jamestown Road. In honor of their inauguration at Billsburg, Chef Jim Kennedy has crafted a special burger, the Billsburger.

The Billsburger is house ground pork and chorizo topped with pork belly burnt end and tomato jam with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and AttiTude sauce on a brioche bun. The Billsburger will be a staple menu item for FoodaTude whenever they are hosted at Billsburg.

“The Billsburger is delicious and unlike any burger I’ve had before,” said Dave Baum, owner of Billsburg.

“We are excited to offer the Billsburger to the patrons of Billsburg,” stated Chef Kennedy.

A $1 from each sale of the Billsburger will be donated to a fund for the community garden on property at Billsburg. This fund will support future additions to the garden including yard games and plants.

FoodaTude is an award-winning food truck owned by Chef Kennedy. FoodaTude has become a staple food truck in James City County at public events. In addition to public events, FoodaTude offers catering for private events such as weddings and graduations. Billsburg opened in October 2017 in James City County and is the first craft brewery in the County. Billsburg is a destination brewery and venue surrounded in history and located next to Jamestown Settlement, Jamestown Island, Jamestown Beach Event Park, just off the Colonial Parkway, the Capital Trail and the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry.
