[ARCHIVED] Sola Salon Studios Opens in New Town Williamsburg

Sola Salon Studios

James City County is pleased to announce that Sola Salon Studios has held a ribbon cutting and grand opening for their new studio spaces at 5140 Main Street in New Town Williamsburg. The business is owned by David Aschheim, who is the local franchisee/operator of Sola Salons in Central and Eastern Virginia. Aschheim and his team operate nine locations, including in Newport News and Chesapeake. Sola Salon Studios offers upscale one- and two-chair studio salons to independent beauty professionals who want to own their own business and service clients in custom studio spaces. Sola Salon Studios Williamsburg is more than 6,500 square feet with 30 studios.

Each Sola Salon Studio space can accommodate hair stylists, estheticians, eyebrow artists, barbers and a range of other cosmetology professionals. Studios range in size from singles to larges and doubles. They are move-in ready and are equipped with shampoo bowls, cabinets and shelving fixtures — everything needed to open an independent studio. There is an onsite laundry and shared amenities such as utilities and Wi-Fi.

“We are pleased to open Sola Salon Studios in New Town Williamsburg,” said Aschheim.  “With eight operators signed on, we look forward to growing the full capacity of our Williamsburg location and bringing independent salon ownership to Williamsburg’s talented beauty professionals.”

Sola Salon Studios was established in 2004 with the opening of the first-of-its-kind salon concept in Denver, CO. With over 150 locations nationwide toda, Sola Salon Studios provides more than 10,000 salon professionals with premium, fully-equipped salon spaces to own and operate their individual boutique salons. Additional Virginia locations are currently operating in the Richmond and northern Virginia (Alexandria, Carytown, Chester, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Glen Allen, Midlothian, Mechanicsville and Springfield.)
