[ARCHIVED] Input Needed in Search for Next County Administrator

County logo James City County Virginia Jamestown 1607

As James City County recruits for its next County Administrator, the Board of Supervisors values the input of residents, staff and others who are interested on what type of individual would best fill the role of County Administrator. This is an important decision and much time and effort will be invested to ensure we select the best candidate to lead our County for years to come.

The County Administrator is appointed by the Board of Supervisors and is responsible for implementing the policies and directives of the Board and planning, organizing, and directing the programs and initiatives of the County staff. The Office of the County Administrator is the highest-level management office of the James City County government. The County Administrator's office is also responsible for supporting the County’s Vision, Mission and Values that guide the day-to-day operations of our local government.

To learn more about the recruitment, visit our website.

We want to hear from you. Please take a survey that will take 15-20 minutes to complete and let us know what type of individual will best fill the role: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HMQZQGZ. Responses are due by April 16, 2018. Your responses will be kept anonymous.

If you would like to fill out this survey in paper format, please contact Springsted | Waters at 804-658-3960.
