[ARCHIVED] LPGA Junior Clinic “Tee” Design Contest Open for Submissions

Kingsmill Tee Contest

James City County (JCC) and Kingsmill Resort have launched the annual “Tee” Design Contest for the 2018 Kingsmill Championship. The winning design will be printed on t-shirts given to participants in the 2018 Junior Clinic on Saturday, May 19 during the Kingsmill Championship. The top three winners will receive two complimentary grounds tickets and an official Kingsmill Championship hat.

Designs are welcomed from children ages 5-12 that participate in REC Connect (before- and after-school programming) or are JCC residents. Children who participate in private or homeschooling are welcome to participate as long as they are County residents.

  • Designs should incorporate golf, James City County and the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
  • The deadline for entries is April 11, 2018.
  • Designs should be in landscape layout and use no more than five colors.
  • Black is suggested to outline the design.
  • All designs must include an entry form when submitted.

A general entry form is available online and REC Connect participants will receive entry forms during the program. All entries from a school should be turned in to the school’s designated contact. Resident entries can be turned in to the lobby of Building D at the County Government Center located at 101 Mounts Bay Road.

This contest is a partnership between James City County and the Kingsmill Championship. All entries will be judged anonymously by a panel of judges. There is no cost to participate.
