[ARCHIVED] Candlelight Vigil to Kick Off National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Candlelight Vigil

Please join the Child Abuse Prevention Coalition of Greater Williamsburg for our 21st Annual Candlelight Vigil, March 27 from 6-7 p.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road. This event is to honor the children whose lives have been impacted by abuse or neglect, while raising awareness and providing tips for prevention. We will have a host of community vendors who will provide information about their services as well as some entertainment and a drawing contest for local school children. This event will kick off April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. You can also support the cause by wearing a blue ribbon, which will be available in several County buildings and offices throughout March and April. For more information please contact Juliet Schwarz at 757-259-3194.
