James City County is pleased to announce that Peek of Joy 3D Ultrasound and Spa celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting on May 15. Peek of Joy is located at 241 McLaws Circle, Ste. 101. The mission of Peek of Joy is to provide women and their families with a variety of services in a safe, accepting environment in which to receive wellness services, education and support. Peek of Joy requires advanced appointments for all services.
Peek of Joy offers elective 3D and 4D ultrasounds with pictures as well as heartbeat bears. In each ultrasound at Peek of Joy, there is seating for up to 7 family members and friends. Peek of Joy also offers prenatal massages that focus on therapeutic bodywork that concentrates on the special needs of the mother-to-be. Also, Peek of Joy offers professional artwork on pre-made at home belly-casts to help capture the memorable moments of pregnancy.
Peek of Joy is owned by Arleigh Hatcher, RN; Crystal Crewe, RN, MSN and Jimmy Tatum. Peek of Joy has five employees.
