James City County is pleased to announce that Village Bank and Trust Financial Corp. (Village Bank) held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 16 for their new location, 5372 Discovery Park Boulevard, Suite 101 in New Town Williamsburg (New Town). This is the first Hampton Roads location of Village Bank.

“We are excited to bring Village Bank to the Williamsburg region,” said William H. “Bill” Carr, Senior Vice President and Peninsula Market President. “Village Bank is community focused, locally owned and operated and a great fit for our community here in Williamsburg.”

Known for their tag line, “You’re a neighbor, not a number,” Village Bank was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Richmond, VA.  New Town is its tenth branch location in the Commonwealth of Virginia and will offer a full suite of products and services for personal banking, business banking and residential mortgages.
