[ARCHIVED] FOG: It's More Than Just a Pretty White Mist

Thanksgiving Turkey

Thanksgiving is around the corner! Planning on a little more cooking than usual? Protect your home and preserve our environment this holiday season by properly disposing of fats, oils and grease (FOG).

1. Pour cooled oil or grease into an old glass jar or can and dispose of it in the trash, or take it to the kitchen grease recycling containers at the Convenience Centers.
2. Remove excess grease on cookware with a paper towel and throw it away with any food scraps.
