Concerned about traffic and safety on Pocahontas Trail? Be part of the solution for future transportation improvements.

James City County, VDOT, and its consultant, RK&K, will host a workshop on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, 8901 Pocahontas Trail.

Participants will learn about a study that is currently underway on these issues and have an opportunity to give input and create a vision for the corridor’s future. The study will explore possible solutions and funding options to address traffic congestion, safety improvements, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, and transit service for an approximately 2-mile stretch of Pocahontas Trail from Fire Station #2 to James River Elementary School.
