[ARCHIVED] Jamestown Beach Event Park, Paddle Craft Launch Area Closed Saturday for Special Event

The paddle craft launch and loading area at Jamestown Beach Event Park will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 30, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the James RiverFest, a free public event. Paddle craft visitors are encouraged to launch from James City County Marina located across the street from the Event Park, 2054 Jamestown Road.  All other park amenities remain open during the event.

Presented in partnership with the James River Association, the James RiverFest is a family environmental festival promoting adventure, education and fun! The event will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Road. Weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, please call the Activities Hotline at 757-259-3232 for any changes in schedules.
