[ARCHIVED] Fire Crews Respond to Fire at Heritage Mobile Home Park

Mobile Home Fire

James City County Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Heritage Mobile Home Park located at 8810 Pocahontas Trail. York County and Williamsburg Fire Departments assisted.

Crews were dispatched at 5:15 p.m. and arrived at 5:21 p.m. to find fire showing from the rear of the mobile home. The fire was under control at 5:45 p.m.

The mobile home sustained smoke and fire damage. The cause is under investigation but is not suspicious.

Occupants were home at the time of the fire and evacuated prior to arrival of fire crews. The American Red Cross is assisting the occupants.

Fire crews cleared the scene at 7:20 p.m.
