[ARCHIVED] Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing Planned for Sept. 16

The County’s annual Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing event is set for Saturday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. The event features arts and crafts, games, inflatables and more! Special attractions include a petting zoo, pony rides ($), hayrides, interactive sports games, the Hampton Roads Fun Bus, live entertainment on the main stage and local food and craft vendors ($). Scarecrow Stuffing will be back again! Make the biggest and the best scarecrow in your neighborhood! First come, first served while supplies last. Don’t forget your camera! 


Admission is $5/car and $20/scarecrow (includes all supplies). Cash or checks only onsite. Chickahominy Riverfront Park is located at 1350 John Tyler Highway. For more information, visit jamescitycountyva.gov/recreation or call 757- 259-5353.
