79 year-old James Edward Kite and 77 year-old Audrey Lily Boyle were found dead today in their residence in the 9100 block of Richmond Road. At approximately 9:30 a.m. this morning, police received a call from a family member who had stopped by the couple’s home to visit.
The incident is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide. Preliminary investigation indicates that Kite shot his wife in the kitchen area of the home and then went outside and shot himself in the garage.
Both victims were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond. The investigation continues.
