Come out to Halloween Tales this Friday night, Oct. 23, 6-8:30 p.m. at Mid County Park! James City County’s annual Halloween event is free, and families are welcomed to join us for a night in the outdoors for Trunk or Treating (6-7 p.m.; ages 12 and younger), arts and crafts (6-7 p.m.), and a family-friendly Halloween show Toy Story of Terror, which shows at 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. Also meet Glacier the Polar Bear and learn more about the Iceburg Skate Rink opening Nov. 20. Costumes welcomed. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Please enter Mid County Park (3793 Ironbound Rd.) from Monticello Avenue. Please dress appropriately for outdoor weather.
