James City County is pleased to announce it has updated its economic development website, The updated website is a sister site to the County’s primary website and allows site integration that improves usability.

The updated website provides a detailed view of the County including major employers, maps, incentives and quality of life. Features include information on how to grow your business, start your business and move your business to James City County. The site has information on featured properties in the County and a searchable database of available properties. Additionally, the updated website can be translated into dozens of languages including Spanish and Chinese, which will allow international businesses ease in accessing information about the County and the Greater Williamsburg region.

The website also features links to external resources such as Launchpad, the Greater Williamsburg Partnership and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.

James City County is home to a large number of major employers in a variety of sectors including distribution, tourism, manufacturing, healthcare and public sector. Virginia began as a business venture on the shores of the James River more than 400 years ago, and the County continues to attract innovators today. Modern day founders discover a lifestyle and business climate in which they can prosper.
