James City County‘s Diascund Reservoir Park will be closed Nov. 16-18. The closure, which includes the boat ramp and fishing pier, is required for Newport News Waterworks to complete shoreline erosion work. The park is located at 9551 Diascund Reservoir Park Rd.
At Mid County Park, 3793 Ironbound Rd., the basketball courts will be closed through Feb. 5 to allow for seasonal operation of the Iceburg Skate Rink. During this period, please visit your County parks offering basketball court options – Ironbound Park, 150 Magazine Rd., Chickahominy Riverfront Park, 1350 John Tyler Hwy., and the Warhill Sports Complex, 5700 Warhill Trl.
