Virtual Programming

Parks & Recreation wants to help you keep your spirits high and your mind and body well during these challenging times. Our virtual programming can help you learn a new craft, take a virtual tour, explore nature and discover the beauty that already exist in our outdoor community. Let us help you get started:

This Week!

  • Looking for something fun to do with the kids on a Friday? Join Parks & Recreation for a FREE virtual Kids Trivia Night on Friday, July 17 from 7-8 p.m. Up to 20 teams will compete in a five-round trivia competition with all questions based on the following categories: animals, movie characters, songs & music, general knowledge and science. Grab the kids and register by July 14. Questions are geared for children ages 6-12 and a parent or guardian is required to participate. Email to sign up and receive full event details and a Zoom meeting invite. To participate, you’ll need a smart phone or a computer with internet access. Event caps at 20 teams; first come, first served
  • Where are you? Try our online jigsaw puzzle and take a guess at determining which County Park is featured. Look for the answer next week along with more fun puzzles to play! Last week’s featured puzzle photo was kayaking at the James City County Marina.

Tune in to hear Williamsburg native Dylan Pritchett, best known as the storyteller, as he shares freedom stories along with a few important lessons and great fun for all!
