The Engage 2045 Community Participation Team (CPT) invites local community organizations to participate in Listening Forums and provide input for the County’s Comprehensive Plan update. The CPT Listening Forums will be held on Monday, March 9 and Monday, March 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Building F Board Room of the James City County Government Center, 101 Mounts Bay Road. Organizations may register using the form below to provide input or to request a presentation time slot, as space is limited.
During the Listening Forums, organizations will have the opportunity to present their mission, goals and challenges in relation to the future of James City County. The CPT also asks each organization to describe the greatest need or desired outcome that should be addressed in the Comprehensive Plan update. Each group participating will have up to 15 minutes to present information to the CPT.
Please note that speakers are required to provide a copy of their presentation for the public record. If your organization cannot attend a Listening Forum, or registration becomes full, please submit input or presentations either through the above form or by email to the Planning Division at email@example.com by March 22.
