This project involves design and construction of upgrades and reconfiguration of the County’s marina (formerly known as the Jamestown Yacht Basin) located adjacent to Powhatan Creek. Much of the existing infrastructure has reached or exceeded its useful life and portions are unsafe and unusable. This project will design improvements to the entire marina facility. The improvements will be constructed in two phases with the timing of the phases dependent on available funding. Phase 1 improvements will be focused along the northwest edge of the basin and adjacent to the primary access road and parking areas.
