The James City County Alliance on Violence Against Women is pleased to present a faith-based forum on domestic violence. Our faith-based communities play a critical role in the response to domestic violence as our faith leaders may be the only person a victim turns to for guidance and in seeking help. This forum begins the important discussion on best practices in delivering guidance and support to our victims and the need for successful collaboration to support faith leaders in their role of providing counseling, making referrals, and helping to ensure the safety of our victims of domestic violence.
