Veterans Park Fees
Picnic Shelter Rentals
Picnic shelters may be reserved March-October. Shelters accommodate up to 50 people and each shelter has 6 picnic tables, including one ADA-accessible picnic table. Picnic shelters may be reserved online or by visiting the James City County Recreation Center. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis November through February. Reservations are confined to the immediate shelter area.
Reservation Changes
Requests for changes to a current reservation should be submitted, in writing, to Stephanie.Debord@jamescitycountyva.gov prior to date of current reservation. Fees may be adjusted depending on change to reservation.
Refunds
Refunds will be granted if Request for Refund Form (PDF) is received 7 days before reservation date. A 10% processing fee will be assessed on all refunds. Forms may be delivered to all payment locations or to Stephanie.Debord@jamescitycountyva.gov.

Court Rentals
Courts are available to rent year-round during operating hours. The basketball courts and pickleball courts have lights for evening rentals. Payment is due at the time of reservation. Approval of court rental will be based on event size and other park reservations. Call 757-259-5360 for more information. Note: All courts have a 2-hour minimum rental.

Multipurpose Room Rentals
The multipurpose room may be reserved between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. year-round. Payment is due at the time of reservation. The meeting room has tables and chairs for up to 20 people. There's no audio/visual equipment or appliances. Wi-Fi access is available. Call 757-259-5360 for more information.
