JCC VOLUNTEER WATER QUALITY MONITORING PROGRAM

The Stormwater Division is working with the Virginia Save Our Streams Program (VA SOS) to recruit, train, equip and certify County residents to monitor the streams in order to determine the overall health of the waterways.  This fun and educational program has been in Virginia since the mid-1990s and has a well-deserved reputation for assisting volunteers in the collection of high quality data about the Commonwealth’s waterways.
