Camp C.O.P.s Camp fundraising events. The James City County Police Department has teamed with Buffalo Wild Wings in New Town for fundraising events for the James City County Police Department’s Community Outreach Program Camp (C.O.P.s Camp). C.O.P.s Camp is for 10-13 year olds and focuses on volunteering and becoming more involved and active in the community. A percentage of the proceeds made on the below dates will be donated to the C.O.P.s Camp. This is an all-day event so please stop by for lunch or dinner!

Firearms Safety for Citizens Class (2 classes offered)

The Firearms Safety for Citizens class will be at the James City Police Department, 4600 OpportunityWay. This is a presentation for citizens relating to basic safety, handling and storage of firearms. Pre-registration required. Interested adults can register by calling the James City County Police Department at 757-253-1800. Grant funding received from the National Rifle Association Foundation and Project ChildSafe was used to purchase class materials and gunlocks. Free gunlocks are available at the class or by calling Sergeant Steve Humphries at 757-603-6022.
Community Outreach Program
The James City County Police Department is accepting donations of new or gently used bikes for an under privileged youth holiday program in our community.
