Crime Analysis

 

The Crime Analyst reviews, monitors and analyzes crime in James City County by reading all reports, including supplements written by the officers/investigators. Additionally, the analyst provides information to the Police Chief for resource allocation. It is the analyst’s duty to provide information to officers/investigators to assist them in their duties and to provide information to the citizens to keep them informed about crimes reported in their communities.
