Register for the James City Clean County Commission’s Annual Spring Cleanup
The James City Clean County Commission’s Annual Spring Cleanup will be held over three consecutive Saturdays - April 6, 13 and 20. The annual event is a litter cleanup and beautification program open to James City County civic, youth and neighborhood groups and organizations.

Registered groups or organizations can take litter to the Jolly Pond Transfer Station located at 1204 Jolly Pond Rd. Participants receive safety vests, litter bags and free disposal.
The annual event has helped citizens create a cleaner community for over 20 years. In that time, local volunteers have removed over two million pounds of trash from County roadsides and illegal dump sites.
Applications are available at the County’s website jamescitycountyva.gov/cleancounty, at any County Convenience Center, or by calling the James City Clean County Commission at 757-565-3664. Any group or organization needing help identifying a location for cleanup should contact Dawn Oleksy, JCC Environmental Coordinator, at 757-259-5375 or dawn.oleksy@jamescitycountyva.gov.
