NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

The Board of Supervisors of James City County, Virginia, will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 7:00 P. M. in the County Government Center Board Room, 101-F Mounts Bay Road, James City County, Virginia to consider the following:

 

Case No. SUP-0018-2012, New Zion Baptist Church Building/Parking Addition. A request for an amendment to a previously approved Special Use Permit to allow a 1,632+/- square-foot building expansion and other minor improvements on a parcel zoned R-8, Rural Residential, located at 3991 Longhill Road, further identified as JCC RE Tax Map No. 3130100022 and designated Low Density Residential by the Comp Plan.

 

Case No. SUP-0001-2013, Carolina Furniture Building Addition.  A request to allow a 3,000 +/- square-foot building addition and other minor improvements on two parcels zoned B-1, General Business, located at 5425 and 5431 Richmond Road, further identified as JCC RE Tax Map No. 3330100019 and 3330100016 respectively and designated Neighborhood Commercial by the Comp Plan.

 

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing. The applications are on file in the Planning Office, 101-A Mounts Bay Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185, and may be viewed during normal business hours.
