Annual James City County Open House Event
The Open House features information, giveaways and demonstrations to help residents learn more about the County services and departments that affect their daily lives. Attendees can get child identification cards, learn about rain gardens, discover volunteer and employment opportunities,and much more.
The Civic Engagement Coordinator is available to visit your homeowners' association meetings or other organization meetings. These meetings provide opportunities to learn more about County services, discover new ways to stay connected with James City County, and work with County staff to address topics of interest to your neighborhood.
Elected homeowners association and neighborhood leaders are invited to attend this series of education and dialogue sessions hosted by the County Administrator. These events are intended to facilitate a continuing exchange of ideas between HOA representatives and their local government.
