  2. 4th Annual Litter & Recycling Expo

    In honor of America Recycles Day (Nov. 15), the James City Clean County Commission is partnering with Solid Waste and Recycling to host the 4th Annual Litter & Recycling Expo. This year’s Expo will showcase the updated Jolly Pond Convenience Center with site improvements to aid stormwater management and customer ease-of-use. There will be many educational displays and interactive activities for all ages. Keep James City County Beautiful will be there to talk about upcoming opportunities for volunteer participation in the areas of litter prevention, community beautification and parks and schools recycling. Representatives will be on hand to answer questions about the James City County curbside recycling program. Other representatives from James City County Law Enforcement and Citizen Engagement and askHRgreen.org will display information on their green initiatives and will be eager to answer any questions. Visitors should bring a recyclable item to receive a free gift!
