GuernseyTingle Receives Project of the Year Award and Award of Excellence

James City County is pleased to announce that GuernseyTingle, a local architecture firm in the County, was awarded Project of the Year from the Hampton Roads Design Build Institute of America for their work on the 37,000 square foot expansion at St. Bede Catholic Church (St. Bede) on Ironbound Road. The project also received an Award of Excellence at the 21st Annual Excellence in Development Design Awards presented by the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE).

GuernseyTingle is a full design services firm including architecture, interiors and planning. It has been open for more than 34 years and employs 22 individuals. Their work includes municipal, animal adoption and care facilities, commercial, custom residential, hospitality, entertainment, medical facilities and non-profit projects. Local clients include Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Kingsmill Resort, James City County, City of Williamsburg, Williamsburg Place and Williamsburg Landing.
