Jamestown Jams Concert Series Announced

James City County is pleased to announce its Jamestown Beach Event Park concert series, Jamestown Jams, is returning for the third year. Come and enjoy free live music on May 25, June 21, July 27 and Aug. 31.

Each concert will have a theme and feature different performers:

  • Friday, May 25, Motown Night featuring Groove Motive
  • Thursday, June 21, "The Originals" Songwriter Showcase by Iota Creative Collective
  • Friday, July 27, Country Night featuring Harley Boone
  • Friday, Aug. 31, 80s night featuring The Deloreans, America's Favorite 80s Showband

On Thursday, June 21, The Originals, an acoustic singer-songwriter showcase, will kick off evening activities for Project 547, a James City County Parks & Recreation initiative highlighting the longest day of the year with a variety of outdoor activities.  For more information on Project 547, please visit the Parks & Recreation website in mid-May.

Entrance will open for each Jamestown Jams concert at 5:30 p.m. Concerts will take place on a grassy field within Jamestown Beach Event Park. (Admission to Jamestown Jams is free.) Parking will be behind the old Jamestown Campground building at 2205 Jamestown Road adjacent to Jamestown Settlement.

Snacks, picnics and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. All items are subject to inspection prior to entrance. No alcohol or large, plastic coolers are permitted. Assorted beer will be available for purchase from The Arc of Greater Williamsburg and the Williamsburg Winery will be on hand pouring fine wines. Vendors will be present selling food and snacks.

Pets are not permitted at Jamestown Jams for the safety of all attendees. Only service animals will be permitted entrance to Jamestown Jams. Chairs and blankets are permitted.

Jamestown Beach will remain open to patrons during each concert and will follow its regular operating schedule.
