Social Services to Host Understanding Credit Workshop

We all know adult-ing can be hard sometimes. If you have ever struggled with debt, found yourself flummoxed by a low credit score, or just wondered what the deal is with this whole "credit" concept anyway, join James City County Social Services for an Understanding Credit workshop.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, March 20 at 6 p.m. at the Human Services Center at 5249 Olde Towne Road, courtesy of Social Services' Family Self-Sufficiency Program.

Understanding Credit is part of a regularly-occurring workshop series organized for participants in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program. The class is geared toward adults of all ages and stages of life. Topics covered will include building credit, common credit myths and what your credit score means for you. The workshop is free and open to anyone who would like to attend. Call 757-259-5393 to reserve your seat.
