Dreams Gymnastics Center Opens in Toano

James City County is pleased to announce that Dreams Gymnastics Center held a ribbon cutting and grand opening for their new gym at 200 Industrial Boulevard, Building #2. Dreams Gymnastics Center is a state-of-the-art training facility offering training in all three gymnastics disciplines: artistic, rhythmic and trampoline/tumbling. Dreams Gymnastics Center offers both recreational and competitive programs.

Dreams Gymnastics Center is owned and operated by Galina Yordanova, Pavlin Yordanov, Jennifer Walk and Larry Walk. Yordanova and Yordanov are both coaches for Dreams Gymnastics Center and combined have more than 30 years of experience in coaching and more than 50 years of gymnastics experience. Jennifer Walk is the Director of Public Relations for Dreams Gymnastics Center.

The new gym is 12,000 square feet and includes state-of-the-art equipment including a double mini-trampoline.

“After several months of training at our temporary gym, we are thrilled to be in our new, permanent home now. Our number one goal at Dreams is to inspire and empower each gymnast that walks through our doors - not only in gymnastics, but in life, too,” said Jennifer Walk. “I am proud of our gym and how much we have accomplished since opening over the summer, but I’m even more excited to be able to bring our unique and holistic training approach to the Greater Williamsburg area.”

Dreams Gymnastics Center offers classes for all ages and skill-levels from toddlers to adults for all disciplines. Additionally, a “Spartan Warrior Class” is offered to boys who want to improve their athletic performance including strength, speed, conditioning and flexibility. A pole vault class is also offered. Dreams Gymnastics Center also has open gym time, camps, clinics and events.

Dreams Gymnastics Center’s mission is to provide a safe environment with the opportunity to be trained by a highly qualified and professional staff capable of coaching gymnasts from the recreational level to the elite level. Once per month, Dreams Gymnastics Center is pleased to offer the “Opportunity to Dream” program, a free one-hour class to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be introduced to the sport.
