House Fire in Windsor Forest

Fire crews in James City County responded to a structure fire Sunday evening, Feb. 5, on Buford Road in the Windsor Forest subdivision. The fire was reported by neighbors about 8:30 p.m., with crews arriving two minutes later, finding heavy fire in the rear of home in the area of a deck. The resident was not at home at the time. Damage was contained primarily to the deck and the immediate exterior of the home, with some smoke damage to the home itself. There were no injuries.
