Recruiting for Citizen Stormwater Advisory Committee

Stormwater staff at community event

The James City County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications until March 1, 2017 for citizens interested in serving on the Stormwater Program Advisory Committee.

The Board established the Advisory Committee in 2008 to assist the Board and County staff by identifying stormwater needs, developing goals and priorities and participating in public education and outreach initiatives related to the County’s stormwater program.

The committee consists of representatives from each voting district and membership is open to any business or resident of James City County. Prospective members will support the goals and purpose of the Stormwater Program and be advocates for projects and events within the County.

To complete the Application to Serve, go to the Stormwater Program Advisory Committee website.

For more information about the stormwater program, visit the Stormwater website.

Decisions regarding Committee membership are expected in June 2017.
