Development Procedures

With each application you will find our fee schedule. Please be prepared to supply a completed application, fees, and required number of copies when submitting your plans along with any other supporting documents required. The required number of plans is as follows.

*Mylar is not required on first submittal, but will be required prior to final subdivision approval.
**This is the number of plans required initially. Additional plans may be necessary to be submitted prior to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors meetings.

Please Note
Before accepting applications for rezonings, special use permits, and Board of Zoning Appeals variances, staff will verify that all real estate taxes owed for the subject properties have been paid in full in accordance with Section 24-24 of the County Code.

The certification can be completed by staff while you wait. If it is found that real estate taxes have not been paid, the application will not be accepted. If you are unsure if your payments are up-to-date, please contact the Treasurer at 757-253-6705.
